What Personal Information Do We Collect?

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

  1. Information you voluntarily provide. This may include your name, date of birth, gender, sexual orientation, email address, Google or Apple account, phone number, photos, videos, location, personal bio, height, body type, weight, occupation, whether you have children, whether you smoke, whether you drink, hobbies and interests, answers to several questions about you, chat messages (text, audio, or photos), public posts (text, photos), and reasons for deletion. Once you register, you will be able to review and change your information at any time by accessing your “Profile” page. You control your user profile and can correct or update (except for your email address, date of birth, gender, and location, which are automatically updated) your information at any time by logging into Uniee.

If you contact our support team using the email address uniee@utrmax.com or the feedback option provided in the Uniee app, we collect your email address and the content of the email/feedback you send to us to help resolve your inquiry. We will keep records of our communications with you, including any complaints you receive (and any complaints other users have about you).

You have the option to submit success stories to us for display on our website and Uniee app. If you submit a success story, you will be asked to provide a photo, a brief story, and the names of you and your partner. We will keep records of your success stories until you ask us to delete them. You can request that we remove your success story at any time by sending an email with the subject “Success Story Deletion Request” to uniee@utrmax.com.

We advise and encourage you to carefully consider the personal information about yourself that you disclose to other users. We do not recommend that you place your email address, URL, instant messaging details, phone number, full name or address, credit card or other financial details, national identification number, driver's license details, or other sensitive information in your profile or chat messages, as this information can be misused and abused.

When you capture or upload a video, if the individual in the video matches the person in your profile photo, the video may be subject to professional review. We want to ensure that you are not a robot! We also aim to prevent the creation of fake Uniee accounts used for malicious activities and cybercrime. While you may voluntarily provide sensitive information about yourself, such as race, personal interests, religious beliefs, or other sensitive information, you are not required to do so. The photos you post may also reveal more detailed information about yourself or your location. You should be cautious and review the photos you choose to publish. Where you opt to publish sensitive personal information about yourself, the information you share is at your own risk.

  1. Information We Collect Automatically: When you use the Uniee app, we automatically collect and store certain information about your mobile device, location, and activities within the app. This information includes device type (model and manufacturer), operating system and its version number, app version number, IP address, and the date and time you access our services.

We may also include your GPS location (if you allow location services) and/or location data derived from your IP address, such as postal code, city, state, and country.

If you make a purchase within the Uniee app, we record the product you purchased, the quantity of the purchase, the price of the product, the date and time of the purchase (if applicable), and the validity period of the purchase (if applicable). Apple will provide us with a unique transaction ID, subscription status, payment status, and the reason for subscription cancellation (if applicable). Google will provide us with a unique order ID, subscription status, payment status, and the reason for subscription cancellation (if applicable). Neither Apple nor Google will provide us with any personal information from your Apple iTunes or Google Play account.

When you use the Uniee app, we also collect data related to your actions within the app. This data may include the date, time, and location you opened the app, the content you liked or disliked, whether you read or deleted any messages, any changes made to your profile or account settings, and the date and time you deactivated your account.

We provide you with the opportunity to modify the personal information you have provided to us at any time. Please note that changes you make may take a few hours to become effective in the public areas of the Uniee service. We appreciate your patience. How We Protect Your Personal Information

How We Protect Your Personal Information

Uniee has implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We only allow authorized personnel to access personal information and regularly review our security procedures to ensure they are in line with best practices.

Unfortunately, no website or internet transmission is completely 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur, but here are some practical tips to help keep your data secure:

  1. Log into Uniee on trusted devices.

  1. Do not share the password you use to access your Uniee account with others.

  2. Information You Provide About Yourself When Using Our Services

Whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information in publicly visible pages, that information will be accessible to the public and can be collected and used by others. For example, if you post your email address, you may receive unsolicited messages. We have no control over who reads your posts or what other users might do with the information you voluntarily post, so we encourage you to exercise caution and discretion when it comes to your personal information.

Data Retention

Data Retention

Personal information is retained only temporarily to continue providing the service and for legitimate purposes, and the information we retain complies with the requirements of applicable laws. The content is retained for as long as the account exists. After your account is terminated, we will delete your personal information as described below:

  1. We follow a strict data retention policy that involves deleting most data and retaining only limited information for specific purposes, as described below:

  1. We retain limited data to fulfill our legal data retention obligations. Additionally, we store records of member consent to prove compliance with applicable laws.

  1. We maintain limited information based on our legitimate interests. For example, we retain customer care records and support data to help us make informed decisions about customer care, exercise our rights, and defend ourselves in the face of claims. We also retain information about past accounts and subscriptions to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Furthermore, we retain data to prevent prohibited members from opening new accounts, as long as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of our members.

  1. Finally, when we encounter ongoing or potential issues, claims, or disputes, we retain information based on our legitimate interests, which requires us to keep the data. This includes data that we need to retain to fulfill our legal obligations when we receive a valid legal subpoena or data preservation request. We also retain data that may be necessary for legal proceedings.

Please note that although our systems are designed to implement data deletion processes in accordance with the guidelines above, we regret to say that due to technical limitations, we cannot promise that all data will be deleted within a specific timeframe.
